IGA011 – Adjusting to Retirement by Learning to Really Work at Living

Retirement is a strange beast and is different for different people. This episode exposes the thinking of two retired men to see how their thoughts about retirement have changed after being retired for a few years. Richard O'Shea shares his thoughts with Lee (the other retired guy) about what a successful retirement means and a few "secrets" about handling this phase of life. They touch such topics as retirement fears, the leisure time myth, the role of passion, and individual value systems.

“Retirement provides an opportunity to connect to a larger world, to find an inner self that couldn’t get out before, and find an outlet for who you truly are.”Lee Mowatt
